Focusing on Quality Improvement in Highway Maintenance and Jointly Promoting Technological Upgrading

From July 14th to 15th, the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Group’s Highway Daily Maintenance Equipment Improvement Technology Exchange Meeting was successfully held at the Dongyong Maintenance Base of the Nansha Bridge. Representatives from the Group’s headquarters, directly affiliated and third-level units, the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Planning Center, and various highway daily maintenance-related units attended the meet.

This event, hosted by Nanyue Transportation Investment Company, brought together 23 leading domestic equipment manufacturers, showcasing five major series of maintenance equipment and conducting simultaneous hands-on demonstrations. The conference adopted a review model combining thematic presentations with on-site practical competitions, conducting comprehensive evaluations based on dimensions such as overall equipment performance, adaptability to high-speed maintenance scenarios, on-site operational efficiency, and safety protection capabilities. During the hands-on demonstration of the obstacle removal equipment, EROMEI’s “Road Cleaner” challenged various extreme working conditions on site. The cleaning effect was unanimously praised by the guests on site.
